Vigorelle Facts & Ingredients

On this page, we are not going to try to sell you anything.  We simply want to provide the important information that you as a consumer deserve in order to make an informed decision.  This page is purely informational.

Vigorelle has been developed over time by an accredited research team of health professionals comprised of Biopharmacists, and Cosmetic Scientists.  Our team works to develop many leading natural health products throughout Asia, North America and the Middle East.

First We Will Discuss the Serious Alternatives to Vigorelle

About Viagra & similar products on the market

First, when we first explored the idea of finding a Viagra-like product for women, we were expecting to encounter something in pill form, like the male version of Viagra.  We were surprised to learn Vigorelle came in a vacuum sealed pump.

It turns out there are a few alternatives to Vigorelle that come in pill form and may even mimic the pharmacology of Viagra, but there is some question about their safety and effectiveness.

There are some pills out there that women can take to supposedly  increase their libido, let's see what the media has said about them:

Doctors Concerned Over The 'Female Viagra'
This article from NBC News discusses Avlimil, a 'purple pill' that promises what Vigorelle actually delivers.  Since it is ingested and not topical as is Vigorelle, doctors express some concern about it.   Topical creams containing herbal blends are less invasive than those taken orally, but we must note that they require the same cautions in certain circumstances as ingested versions.  (See Medical Advice)

Vigorelle is an all natural female viagra alternative

Viagra Effective for Some Women Reuters Health -- This article describes how the same Viagra that men take may work for certain women.  However, it is not for everyone, to quote:
While there were significant improvements on Viagra, the authors recommend that doctors take a thorough medical and psychological history from women seeking treatment for sexual problems to determine if other methods of treatment could work.

This option is again, not for everyone and creates quite a hassle in that you need to have a thorough workup before doctors will even consider prescribing it.  Vigorelle, on the other hand, requires no prescription since it is a topically applied all-natural herbal product.  Please, for everyone's safety, take the time out to read Medical Advice below, even though it only applies to some women.

The Search for a Female Viagra - Discovery Health Channel - Read the part about: L-arginine.  It is described as one of 3 substances that "
hold promise to improve a woman's sex life".  It is also one of the ingredients in Vigorelle and also the safest of the three mentioned in the Discovery Health article, completely safe, says the FDA.

Of the other two, there is DHEA, which the article notes has the potential for causing heart attacks, cancer and "masculating side-effects such as facial hair". How would you look in a beard?   The other possible substance, Testosterone Therapy also has unwanted side effects: Too much of it can cause, among other things, facial hair and change a women's voice, which is irreversible.(!)
Vigorelle contains neither of the above potentially dangerous ingredients and is all-natural.

Vigorelle is starting to look better and better, isn't it?

Medical Advice Concerning Vigorelle, Please Read

We would never become involved in the marketing of a product of which we had not convinced ourselves was safe for general consumer use.  Even if we were clearing $1,000,000 a unit, sleeping comfortably at night is more important than money.  For that reason, we took the time out to research Vigorelle to convince ourselves that the product was both effective (believe us, it is!) and safe.  Of course, its manufacturer, Albion Medical is known worldwide for developing safe and effective medical products using FDA certified, GMP facilities.  Nonetheless, we wanted to provide some independent information for consumers.  It turns out that  Vigorelle can be used at most times by the vast majority of women, however we must offer the following cautions.

For Your Safety:Cautions for Certain Women

Women who are/have:

Pregnant or breast-feeding
clotting disorders, high blood pressure or heart disease
estrogen-positive cancers
within 3 days of having surgery
users of blood thinning medications
users of anti-diabetic medications

should consult their Primary Care Physicians or gynecologists before using Vigorelle or similar products.  If you click any of the Vigorelle links on these pages, you are taken on to further information concerning Vigorelle. On the sidebar on the left hand side of that page is a link labelled "information".  Since it contains a complete list and more detailed description of the natural ingredients in Vigorelle, you may want to print that page and show it to your PCP or gynecologist.

Vigorelle Facts & Ingredients

First, keep in mind, that unlike some of the options described in the first section,  About Viagra  & similar products on the market , Vigorelle contains no petrochemical by-products, artificial colors or fragrances.  It is all-natural and comprised of 100% herbal ingredients.  I wish we could state that Vigorelle is FDA approved, but NO herbal product can be FDA approved since as its acronym spells out,
FDA = Food & Drug Administration, which excludes any herbal substances or supplements.  There is no Federal Herbal Administration, probably because the initials FHA were already taken by the Federal Housing Authority.

Nonetheless, the FDA will rate herbal ingredients when they are used in foodstuffs, which describes all the ingredients in  Vigorelle, since Vigorelle is 100% edible & non-toxic.

We will notate our research into Vigorelle's ingredients below, citing sources where appropriate.  Remember also, that the ingredients in Vigorelle are described in greater detail once you click any of the Vigorelle links on the other pages and choose the "information" button on the left hand side of the page.
